Keyboard timeline

 I learnt about the different keyboards that were invented through out long periods of time, and different centuries. They had different designs which improved over time, as each and every keyboard had different styles from big keys, to piano like inventions including different operating systems.

Hand tools

I learnt about hand tools, the uses and maintenance each tool required.  The different types of hand tools, the names, but also the main safety aspects that each tool has.

Hui- Blog Writing Task

What are the benefits of a regular routine of getting up on time in the morning?

 -Getting to your bus on time.

-Ability to concentrate because your not so sleep deprived.

 -Better grades.

-More energy.

-And has more of a positive outlook.

What is one positive thing that you can do for others in your day?

-Help them avoid the negative aspects of life.

Bridge making

In medal tech, we built bridges out of Popsicle sticks and hot glue.
Therefore we tested how much pressure the bridge could hold, using numbered objects such as bricks (blocks).
There are different types of techniques you can use, to make it possibly less breakable compared to others.
But i also learnt that it takes effort and patience to create something incredibly stable, not only that but something easy to work with.
I participated, but give all admiration to the person who put everything together, Hana.

My understanding of Human Rights & Social Justice

In social studies, i managed to increase my understanding of human rights and  social justice.
For example when talking about human rights, We all have the right to the equal enjoyment of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights.
But there's people who believe they are on a higher ranking than others, along with higher expectations, which could also be unfair on others feelings, and not only emotional well-being, but also physical well-being.
Therefore there are individuals that should be given the same amount of respect, and understanding, despite their culture, and others discrimination towards different religions, and skin colours.
We should be given the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and possibly torture, freedom of opinion and expression, and certainly many more.
As for social justice, it's a development which is alongside economic growth, sustainable environment, but it also ensures fairness to future generations, or people who are living in poor conditions that most likely are life threatening.
We should be given fair treatment, opportunity, success and advancement for all people, but also striving to identify and eliminate barriers that have prevented the full participation of some certain groups.

Perimeter & Areas

I learnt that a perimeter is a path that encompasses & surrounds a two-dimensional shape. But also that the term may be used either for the path, or its length in one dimension. 

Introduction in fractions

In maths, we have been learning about fractions.
We are learning how to simplify fractions, how to simplify experiential fractions, and work on how to write fractions.
We also created our own quiz, which will be shown down below.
